Terms and Conditions of Sales

Purchasing a product from Aircraft Development Industries cc implies acceptance of these terms.

These terms regulate the legal relationship between you, as the customer and Aircraft Development Industries cc. These Terms and Conditions shall not be altered, modified or varied unless expressly agreed in writing by both parties.

PRODUCTS:
It is the sole responsibility of the Customer to determine that the goods or services and part numbers ordered are suitable for the purpose of intended use. Our products may only to be used in accordance with the regulations of your local legal civil aviation authorities in place and may not be modified or altered in any way. No aircraft instrument or component relating to our products may be opened, adjusted or calibrated other than by an approved legal and appropriately licensed aircraft maintenance facility. All instruction manuals, literature and software is in no way to replace, the approved aircraft maintenance manuals applicable to the aircraft. All aircraft repairs, replacements, adjustments and calibration checks must be carried out in accordance with the approved aircraft maintenance manuals.

CALIBRATION:
Products used for testing or adjusting aircraft components will need to be calibrated, on at least, an annual basis at a calibration facility acceptable to your local civil aviation authorities with calibration standards traceable to National Standards. The onus is on you as the purchaser / end-user to ensure annual calibrations are carried out by suitably approved facilities.

PRICES:
Prices are stated in South African Rands or, if applicable, in United Sates Dollars or European Euros. Quoted prices are exclusive of Value Added Tax or, if applicable, the quotation will clearly state the VAT portion at the current governmental rates plus the total payable amount. Exported sales of products to customers outside the borders of South Africa are not required to pay VAT. Kindly note that invoices are strictly COD, unless otherwise arranged. Depending on the product, we may, at our own discretion, require a payment of 50% of the total invoice amount at the time of purchase and the balance paid in full on delivery or full payment up-front.

SHIPMENT:
All Shipping charges and shipping insurance costs are to be paid by yourselves. All shipping arangements must be made by you for collection at our premises and we will not negotiate with shipping companies for better prices. We will only ship in accordance with your specific written instructions . Shipping dates are given to the best of our knowledge based upon conditions existing at the time the order is placed. We will apply our best efforts to ship by the estimated shipping date, however, circumstances may arise that dictate a delay in the estimated shipping date.

WARRANTY
We take great pride in manufacturing equipment that is safe, reliable and cost effective. However, in the event of a malfunction or failure, within a 12 month period from the date of delivery, of any of our pieces of equipment we will repair or replace the unit as necessary and entirely at our own discretion. We may, at our discretion, extend the 12 month warranty period depending upon the type of equipment, nature and circumstances of the malfunction. All warranties are immediately null and void should any equipment be damaged, tampered with or opened by anyone other than Aircraft Development Industries cc or our appointed nominee, or should the goods be operated outside the operational specifications. Shipping costs are not covered by the warranty.


MILITARY APPLICATIONS:
Our products may not be used in military applications, or passed-on to any military or para-military organisations or individuals. We may at our discrestion, after a full disclosure of the end-use of our product, such as search and rescue applications, sell our products to military organisations with the above proviso. We may refuse your purchase request.
